In Parshat Yitro, we learn of Moshe Rabbeinu’s tremendous loyalty and devotion to עם ישראל.

The Pasuk says וירד משה מן ההר אל העם, that Moshe came down from the mountain to the nation. Rashi comments on the wording of מן ההר אל העם.

Rashi says that Moshe went directly from the mountain to the people and did not worry about his personal business. He put the people as his top priority. He sacrificed his personal interests for the people.

He was setting an example for all future leaders. They needed to be thoroughly devoted to the עם. Being a Jewish leader comes with great responsibility and commitment. Moshe led by example.
